Not a husky

Since we were gone for so long, we thought we would show you one of the reasons we were distracted.

Meet Jenna. Jenna was at the shelter for more than 30 days because EVERYONE was in love with her. Well, you know the humans have a soft spot for us four legged creatures... So, Jenna entered the program. But, guess what....she didn't move in with us. How wonderful! In fact, Jenna became a foster failure when her two foster siblings also fell in love with her.

Now mom tells us that the foster family (now adoptive family) is pregnant. We are pretty darn excited, and so is Jenna. She loves kids! Soon she'll have one of her own.

Enjoy the photos.

I'm still standing

MEOW. It's me Witty Kitty. Mom won't announce how many huskies (and other dogs) have come through the house in the last year in the foster program. She's afraid someone will label her insane. DUH!

Well, no worries. I have continued to train those "non-trainable" huskies. So for all of you who say the huskies have a high prey drive..... I can't argue with that. BUT....I'm still here aren't I?

I hope you enjoy the photos. I have no idea why humans think I am going to pose for the camera. What is wrong with that picture (pun intended).

Signing off (but not out).

You can't see me

Oh yea, right. Like I'm going to interrupt my PI investigative efforts to pose for some stupid human photo. Instead of taking my photo, they could have cleaned the bench! My blue eyes were spying on a squirrel. Hope you had a great weekend.

Still hanging around

Hi. It's Journey here. I know everyone thinks we have disappeared. At least Mom has started helping on the other blog: www.sibevibes.blogspot.com.

We're still here, feeling a bit neglected since the humans insist on continuing rescue work, although it has been less in the last few months.

We'll be coming by to say hello as the humans permit. We hope everyone is doing great.

Tail wags,

Journey, aka Sluggo

Rescue Rescue Rescue

Spart Tart here. Have you noticed I have yet to be named a foster failure?
Well, I think I want to leave. Mom slapped a remote collar on me. Now how stupid is that? I sit, down and heel when I want to. Can someone save me? Jefferson is being such a bad example. He has gone from the wild child to the "top of his class" according to the Mommy. That's just garbage.

Now, all of our time keeps being sucked away by others. Mom pulled a new male from Mesquite Friday. He is not doing so well at his foster's....separation anxiety. Mom is threatening to bring him over here. Oh sure, like Jefferson Pagoda and Maxwell Smart aren't enough.

Seriously, Mom is looking for a husky home for this guy so we don't have to move him but once. He is attentive, beautiful, learns incredibly fast, but needs a pack to reassure him.
Here he is, but I don't know what is so special about him.

Keep cool!

Selfish mommy

HELP. We are all still here, but we are so very abused. Thank you for all checking in with Mom to make sure we are breathing. The air in Texas is hot and humid. We are sooooo glad Dad is in the air conditioning biz. Cool breezes inside!

Here we are trying to make the best of the fact that the humans keep bringing in more and more and more dogs. At least some of them do leave. In fact, some don't even get fostered with us (at least that's what the humans say!).

All we know is that sometimes we are having to suffer with Steel cut oatmeal for breakfast instead of Challah french toast. And, the other day Mom gave us something called stew instead of our usual chicken or fish or shrimp. We were polite and cleaned our plates.

We hope Mom will let us have more computer time. Have a great weekend, all

No worries

Meow....
Ding Dong the Witch is Dead.... Ha! Mom doesn't believe in censorship so..... Tee Hee. I have taken over and am celebrating that Miss Priss, Matisse has found her furever home.

Uh oh.....gotta run.

Please excuse Wit Kit's ill manners. He was not at all excited about our latest house guest, Matisse. Matisse was really well mannered, and very beautiful. She just was a bit too much of a cat fan, kinda like Khyra. It's me, Spart Tart. Thank Dog the boys are still here for me to play with, but Matisse did find her home last night.

Her humans run and already know all about us sibes. They are super cool, and are already asking for doggie cookie recipes. We're sending them to Wilbur, Kat and Steve's blog. Their parents both work, but Dad comes home for lunch most days. Sounds like she'll get enough togetherness time between naps.

Here's Miss Priss on her last day here.
Witty was glad she left as the new cold front came through. He enjoys the house more in cold weather.

We got our usual French Toast weekend breakfast, but then Mom made us some snickerdoodles from Kat's Kitchen recipes. Yummo, Mom. We went for a nice long stroll and settled in for our nap. While we were napping, Auntie Mame dropped off our weekly chicken delivery. Ohhhhh. It's rough to be a dog supervising all of these kitchen activities.

Let's all go play!
