Busy week. Gorgeous day.
Woof pretty pups and captivating cats. It's me, Heidi. Okay, we'll get the font size increased now, but remember that's how you know it's me. The day started out great with Sunday brunch at 8:00 AM and 2 hours of doggie play time Then, things took a turn for the worse. Mom gave me another bath today, and then woke me up to take my picture when I hadn't finished drying and I hadn't been groomed yet. Grrrrrrrr. Doesn't she know not to wake the sleeping Lhasa tiger? How would she like it if I snapped her pic with no makeup and bedhead?
Well, Rosemary is outside sunbathing, but asked me to grab the keyboard. Some people think the only thing Rosemary has in common with the huskies is her piercing blue eyes. However, Rosemary, aka Bat Girl, is always the first to blow her coat, and when she does.....She's all husky. The wind was blowing all of her fur out of the yard, but we snapped a couple shots with one or two sweeps with the furminator today. All of you huskies know how many piles of fur we really pulled off. Mom thinks it's funny that Bat Girl is a black dog, but the coat always comes out looking like Lola's.
Bat Girl was a pretty good sport about it today, and at least she didn't have a bath.
While we were out our back yard neighbors shouted across the alley and Mom and Dad went to see them. They found a one year old black lab mix who is lost. If anyone knows of such a dog who was lost in Dallas, please let us know. Mom cleaned him up too. Tee hee. Mom thinks he's really cute, but I just don't see it!
So if any of you pups in Dallas know of someone who lost this handsome boy last week, let us know. Otherwise, we'll screen new homes for this guy. He's friendly, house trained and obviously was well cared for. He does well on a leash, but is still a jumper. He was a little overwhelmed by our pack. Witty Kitty didn't volunteer to come out and see if he's cat trained, though.
Well, I'm going back to sleep now. Hope y'all have a great Sunday!
