Hercules searches for home

Wooo wooo wooo woof! Hey guys and gals, it's me Lola. No, I haven't transformed into that handsome small male. That's Hercules, and he's looking for a home. His foster family took pity on him a week ago, and they are quite taken with him. He is not cat friendly, and that does pose a problem in their house. He does just fine with the rest of their pack. He is house trained, neutered, has been vetted and is about 20 pounds, and not destructive as long as he has fun toys. If you know of anyone looking, let us know.

We pause for this word from our human sponsors (the ones that just fed me turkey, green beans, carrots and whole wheat, organic crackers, followed by peanut butter cookie). Yes, that's why I allow the humans to speak occasionally. The flower in the post below we think is a Mohonia, Grape Leaf. And yes, all three of our red bud trees are in full bloom. We didn't have much winter here, and spring came early.

We were trying to get Witty to blog today, but he was a bit camera shy.
No, he's not marking the bush!
Well, we are headed for our long evening stroll. Hope you guys get to go along too. Mom took a video of us on the way out the door, but she said she got a bit too much of Pop's cute rear end. She didn't want people thinking this was an adult film. Actually, Heidi thinks it's because she wasn't featured in the film. Good grief!

Loveable Lola

He's so cute! We hope he finds a furever home soon!
Wow. Our redbuds aren't doing much of anything yet. Our TX Quince is kind of blooming, though - that's about all. Our mom asked our aunt (a master gardner) about your Grape Mahonia - she said it's that or Mahonia japonica. Looks delicious to me, but I have a unique perspective on plants. Ha roo roo roo!

I'll bet I could have a blast with that little dude. I'm not so sure about those crazy cats either...he sounds smart too.

Of course he won't like cats, although sometimes I think it might be fun to have one of my own to play with.

Mistress says thank you for telling us about the plant. She thinks you are right because she used to have a Mahonia bush in the UK and the leaves were similar but smaller. Everything is smaller in the UK of course. It also had (small) yellow flowers.

Witty has a fine tail doesn't he?
