Well just when we thought we might have to call Noah..... the skies cleared up and we got a beautiful day. Yesterday it rained all day and night (over 5 inches). Thank goodness we live on high ground!
So, we were forced to play indoors. Luckily, the humans keep an overabundance of toys for just such an event.
And of course when we lose interest in toys, we always have each other!
Mom cried last night when she read about the passing of a sweet little husky girl. Mom is such a softie!
In memory of Sasha, Mom spent four hours with us and counted how many times we made her smile or laugh. Considering much of that time was doing chores, we were surprised with the results. She won't tell us who "won the contest", but all told, in four hours we made Mom smile at least 25 times. She even let Witty participate!
Forget the drinking binges, the drugs, the cigarettes, and the 900 calls. Mom says we are a much better alternative!
Sasha, your parents miss you very much. You were a great comfort to them in good times and in bad times. You were a great ambassador for us all.

Yes, we feel so badly for Sasha's family - her mom wrote some furry nice stuff about her - I'm sure Sasha helped from beyond!

We're sick of the rain too. It hasn't stopped here.
Our Mom cried about Sasha too. Then she hugged and kissed us 8000 times. Every day is a gift.

Our mom kept getting all sad and teary-eyed, so we took her on a long walk. It helped!
