Hello everyone. It's me, Rosemary, aka Bat Girl. I am staring everyone down today. Why you might ask? I need you to listen up today.
I just heard that a cocker spaniel hoarder in Weatherford had 80 dogs. DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue is helping. They have already pulled 17 dogs, 10 were vetted at last word and 8 of those 10 were heart worm negative. What a blessing. The local rescue is trying, but resources are scarce, and you know how difficult it is to find fosters. They are sending out pleas across the nation. At the moment, their website has not been updated regarding the situation, but Mom has an email from a reliable source in the rescue arena. Mom is going to try to find out more. In the meantime, please tell EVERYONE.
I came from a horrible place where the humans beat me and I managed to escape. I ran and ran and ran. And then trembled for months. Every email, blog posting, dollar you can spare, and foster/adopter you can find is needed during these times. Many of us are in rescue, and we have all been here.

I hope you can find enough fosters! Here in AZ, they just busted a puppy mill and pulled 780 dogs!

Good luck to all the Cockers!!! My brothers and sister came out of nasty circumstances, too, so our hearts go out to those puppers!
