Well, I wasn't that successful, and I injured him. So, Mom took the baby in and cleaned him up and rehydrated him. She kept him for 24 hours, and contacted DFW Wildlife Rescue. Then she and Pop tracked Northeast of McKinney to bring the baby to a rehab'r.
So, needless to say, Mom is not happy. I think she's totally unreasonable. I was just trying to help!

I know that you were trying to help. When the squirrels are older, they're fair game but I stay away from the little ones since our mom always trys to protect the babies.

Sorry ya got in trouble but ya gotta leave the baby squirrels alone. It's not your fault. We are all hunters under the skin & we had to hunt before we got lucky and the humans took us in. I don't want to see you go away soooooooooo
