New to blogging

Hello bloggers! We're brand new at this written communication thing. We have more than mastered the vocalization of all our needs and wants. However, our humans haven't learned to obey our every verbal command. So, we are now forced to seek help in commanding the two-legged kinds. We're not too camera shy, so if you're curious, check us out.

I'm Journey. I'll play with anything, including this great stick! I am really laid back, but that's because all the females in the pack think they are the boss. Fear not, we all know I rule the roost. For some reason my humans have nick-named me Sluggo. Hmmmm. I don't see them running any marathons.

Hi there! I'm Lola, and I'm not at all shy. I'm a young rescue gal. My story is a little sad. My humans adopted me with significant health issues, but I am a fighter (a.k.a. stubborn). I love to chase squirrels and wrestle with Rosemary. Of course I'd really like to chase Witty Kitty, but those humans are such spoil sports. If anyone is up for some digging, I'm always game!

Yep, I'm Rosemary. If you want to wrestle, I'm up for the challenge. I'm part black lab and part husky, so I definitely know how to have some fun. Mom says I have no inside voice at all. I like everyone to hear my deep roar! And in case you can't tell, I'm a bit of a chow hound. When I was rescued, I was completely terrified. However, now I am just pleased as punch to tell you humans when to feed me, pet me and walk me. And, those walks are not discretionary!

Move over you big dogs. I'm Heidi, Lady of Leisure. I don't know why they say I'm moving into the geriatric wing. I still have more attitude in my little paw, then all of you put together. Sure, you don't think I'm a real dog, but who gets carried around the house whenever she wants? Who can make Mom jump on a whim? And, who is the only dog in the house allowed to chase Witty?

Well, I'm obviously the leader of this pack, but you can call me Lord Caruso, a.k.a. Witty Kitty, a.k.a. The Gateway Kitty. I'm very camera shy, but I do strut down the street for a walk with the rest of the pack. After all, that's how Mom and Dad meet all the neighbors. Why does anyone think it's strange to have a cat leading a pack of dogs down the street?

Now that we've been introduced, we'll try to keep you posted when interesting things happen (and maybe when not-so-interesting things happen). Tonight we're just trying to get a handle on the keyboard. Lola always hogs the keyboard, and her typing skills suck!
