Mom is a complete sucker

Harooooooooo. Sparta here. Mom is a complete sucker.
I had a marvelous time spending the night Tuesday night with my Auntie and Uncle. You know the people who are very long term friends of Mom's. They have two Brittany Spaniels who live a great life. And, Auntie's brother lives in Seattle (a place I can't wait to see). Well, Mom found an excuse to get me back "home". Whatever. I was having a blast!

Mom said something about Auntie and Uncle having some obligations that would require me to come back to our house for a while during July. So, why not just go ahead and keep me and see what happens. Yea, she's still saying she's gonna let me go to Seattle to live in the cooler climate with lots of snow and a very active Dad. Hmmm. I smell a rat and it's spelled MOM.

Apparently in my absence Rosemary got really mad at Mom. Rosemary was convinced Mom had done something bad to me. Even Lola was concerned. When Mom arrived home Tuesday night without me Rosemary growled and barked at her. Tee Hee! Lola wouldn't even acknowledge Mom's existence today without food to bribe her with. Rosemary and Lola are such mother hens. I'm telling you I was having a GREAT time. Mom even em'd Adopt a Husky to tell them I was on trial. I didn't do anything wrong, so why am I on trial?

Well, as soon as the wonderful Auntie and Uncle left tonight, I did snuggle right up in Mom's lap (I had to make her feel good about all of her worrying). Right now I'm snuggled in the bed with Dad while Mom gets some much needed work done that she managed to ignore today.

Well, I will have to work on the Seattle thing later. For now, I'm sharing photos of me and Lola before I left and a few of my toy carcasses!

Hope everyone is having a great week.

That's quite an impressive pile of stuffies you have there. I see you've claimed the sofa sort of like us.

Hmmm... this is interesting. It sounds like your mom really likes you. I can see why. You are pretty cute and have a great personality. I'm interested to see how this plays out.

Actually if you get a feline foster you might end up with someone like Salvador. Scratch that idea.

Woo, Sparta. I'm feeling the Foster Failure vibes. Really. I mean - obviously your pack mates missed you and need you!
You are home. The sooner your mom accepts that, the easier it will be for everyone. Trust me; I know these things.

You look pretty well "at home" on that sofa. I think you need to stay there. Nothing wrong with being a foster failure!!! You BELONG there!

i think we have some things in common. Any sort of TOAST! Cats - even if they do live with you. Naps - lots of them.
And you are so pretty.
Don't go just yet.

Pippa and love to the rest of the pack.
PS Glad the op seems to have gone ok.
