Sparta searches for Oswald

It seems as if we are continually apologizing for late postings. In fact we've been very rude about not thanking Princess Eva and her darling little brother for our award. This was so very sweet of our friends. Thank you! Because our human typist is so slow, we think most of our friends have received this wonderful award. Please forgive our human. She uses excuses like being busy with rescue, etc.

Well, to be honest, I have been traversing around looking for a spot for the humans to purchase. We live on what Mom says must be gold because the price of land in the middle of the city is costly. So, the parents are toying with the idea of moving to a local city that still has a couple of acres that builders have not snagged (mostly because of the asking price according to Mom). No decisions have been made, but the looking is a lot of fun. Here I am searching for Oswald! And how do you like all the trash cans on the corner? Pretty good scents here.

I doubt the parents are serious about this property because the land is almost as much as the current house. Mom really watches her pennies. So.... Keep your fingers crossed. They keep telling me I won't get to make the move, but like a good husky, I ignore them. I'm listening to all of our great blogger buddies who say I'm in for foster failure.

Oh. You can't see them in this pic, but this property had something Mom called longhorns on it. They were my color, but skinny and had big things on their heads. Odd looking if you ask me!

Have a great week.

P.S. Don't worry Huffle. Witty is still around. We haven't eaten him....yet.

I say your parents need to go for it. In Texas we had a tiny yard and never had birds or squirrels. Now we have a bigger yard and lots of squirrels to chase over the fence!

Oswald!?!? How did you get to Texas!?!?
Oh, Sparta, you just look so lovely in those pictures! I'll bet you were a lot of help picking out property with your forever family. :)
Dave said he knows about those longhorns, since he's from Texas!

Our parents keep talking about getting some land where we can have sheep. But since they'd have to sell our house to do, Momma refuses to live in a field. I guess we won't be getting any sheep.

P.S. Please ask Witty Kitty to stop by our blog. There's an award with Witty Kitty written all over it.

It would be nice to have lots of space to run around in wouldn't it? I would like that too. But mistress tells me it is not too good a time to sell right now, so I guess I won't be going field hunting just yet.

Oswald visited my front porch! I have proof on my blog. He didn't talk much though. He sure does have big ears!
