People helping animals

WOOF! Rosemary here. You'll know it's me by the all caps woof. Mom says I don't have an inside voice. She promises to give me a video chance in the coming months so you can hear what happens when a husky and a lab are mixed together.

Like so many of you, I am a rescue. Mom and Dad were supposed to foster me, but I convinced them to keep me instead. That took almost a year, by the way. Those humans are so stubborn!

We want to send cyber kisses and tail wags to our good friends, Steve, Kat and Wilbur for giving us an E for Excellence award. Having just entered the blogging world, we are working on our typing and content skills. Now we really will have to stand on our hind legs to meet such a standard!

Mom was looking around for Valentine's Day topics for dogs and found this site about sending valentines to chained dogs.

We haven't explored this yet, but thought maybe some of you might have. It's an interesting concept, but we're not sure the effectiveness. We definitely don't think most dogs like being chained up. Let us know your thoughts on this cause.

Now, I'm sure y'all already know this, but it's time for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show the 11th and 12th. Some of our rescue friends look down their noses at us when they hear we watch, but we think it's great entertainment. Secretly, I think this is why Journey has been lifting weights! He hasn't learned that television is not a participatory event.

In the coming days, we'll give the keyboard over to Lola so she can report in on her visit to the vet today. If you are wondering what is going on in the picture, that's me hiding from Mom when she said that word vet. She tries tricking us by calling the vet a pediatrician, but we are wise to her!

Big barks to all,

Rosemary
